PreCollege Orientations for High School Diploma or GED seeking students
For Summer Quarter classes, which begin on July 1 |

| Wednesday and Thursday | May 29 and 30 | 1:30-4 p.m. |
| Tuesday and Wednesday | June 4 and 5 | 6-8:30 p.m. |
| Tuesday and Wednesday | June 18 and 19 | 6-8:30 p.m. |
| Tuesday and Wednesday | June 25 and 26 | 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. |
Students must attend orientation, testing, and an advising appointment to register for PreCollege classes. Please sign up early as classes fill quickly.
Sign up for an orientation by:
- Calling the PreCollege office at 425.640.1593,
- Droping by the PreCollege office in Mukilteo Hall, room 403, or
- Emailing devediv@edcc.edu.
To sign up via email you must:
- Be over 19 years old (if UNDER 19, please call the Dev. Ed. office for additional information)
- Include your full name and address
- Include the date and time of the orientation you wish to sign up for
- Include your date of birth
- Provide a valid phone number (you will receive a confirmation call before your orientation date)
Returning students who have attended High School Completion or GED® classes within the last two years do not need to attend orientation again. Please call the Dev Ed Office at 425.640.1593 and ask for a “Returning Student” appointment with an advisor.

PreCollege Programs
GED Preparation
Do you want to take the GED test but aren't sure if you're ready? Take a GED Preparation class and get the knowledge and skills to test with confidence.
EdCAP
Are you a young student who wants to finish high school and get a college degree? EdCAP provides young adults (16-21) with an opportunity to earn a high school diploma in a college environment. Students have the option to explore classes that will give them a jump start towards one of our many professional technical programs.
Adult High School and 21 Plus Adult Diploma
Are you an adult who wants to get a high school diploma? You can take classes at Edmonds Community College to obtain a high school diploma recognized by the state of Washington. Some of the classes you take in the Adult High School program might even count toward a college degree!
I-BEST
Get a head start in the I-BEST program, which combines an academic support class with practical application of learning in career classes. Get started learning skills for a new career with higher wages. Take classes in Computers, Electronics and Networks, Construction Industry Training, Allied Health, and Medical Office Terminology.
Bridge
Want to be a super student? Gain confidence and prepare for college level classes! Improve your reading, writing and study skills. Learn the secrets and strategies of the most successful college students. Find out more about Bridge classes!
