This degree is designed for individuals with experience or prior training in Information Technology who wish to augment their current occupation or acquire new abilities to advance their job skills and qualifications. The courses included in this degree are available during the day; the evening and some courses are online.
Acquiring this degree will provide graduates with skills to attain positions that require them to use, create, maintain, analyze and program databases. The core courses provide a foundation in data resource management. A student will complete the degree with a series of elective courses in related areas (specializations) as approved by a CIS adviser. Topics available in the related / specialized studies include:
