CHAIR'S MESSAGE

Welcome to the Creative Retirement Institute (CRI) of Edmonds Community College. CRI is a member-driven, self-supporting organization whose mission is to provide quality, affordable, educational opportunities for adults in a supportive environment. We bring great classes taught by dedicated instructors to a community of fellow learners eager to know more about science and literature, history and politics, music and art, philosophy, and other countries and cultures.

Enroll in classes, meet new people, become an active participant in CRI.

Volunteer your time and talents to one (or more!) of our committees: curriculum, finance, membership, marketing, social. Invite friends and neighbors to become members. Martha Nussbaum, classicist and philosopher, in an interview with Bill Moyers, said that “a livable life” is one that is “rich and full and involves many different activities….and relationships among people.” Make CRI a part of your livable life.
