Services We Offer
Individuals seek personal counseling services for a myriad of reasons. Some issues that clients seek out counseling services for include, but are not limited to, depression, anxiety, anger, substance use/abuse, relationships challenges, etc. Counselors are trained to be supportive, relate to others and are sensitive to a client's background and life experience. Counseling can offer a client an ear to listen, help you learn how to address issues and how to manage and cope with symptoms.
Need to choose a major or decide upon a career path? Let us help you develop a better understanding of yourself, learn about career and academic research tools, and develop a method for informed decision making.
Student Success Counseling
Having difficulty in your classes or navigating the college system? Some topics that a counselor can help you explore include, but are not limited to adjusting to college life, study strategies such as reading textbooks and test taking strategies, time management skills, and overcoming test anxiety.
Resources and Referrals
The Counseling and Resource Center provides referrals for all of our campus community members. You can review the printed material at our center located in Mountlake Terrace Hall (MLT) 145 or check out our online resources.
