Important Dates and Information for Graduates

Graduation Process

April 17

Deadline to pay a $40 program completion fee at the Cashier's Office and apply for graduation online.

Cap and Gown

April 11-June 12

Purchase a cap, gown, and tassel for $36.95 at the college bookstore.

May 30

Last day to order custom sized gowns.

June 12

Last day cap/gown kits are sold in the college bookstore.

Registering for the Ceremony

May 27-June 10

Register to walk in the Commencement Ceremony at the Triton Student Center, Brier Hall, room 252. Get free announcements while they last!

Hours: 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Mon.-Thurs., 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Fri.

Transportation

Driving: The XFINITY Arena in Everett is located at 2000 Hewitt Avenue, Everett, WA 98201.

Parking: Parking is available at the XFINITY Arena in Everett for a fee and there is quite a bit of free street parking for early arrivers.  (Note that some street parking may have time limits.)

When/where of I need to show up?

Student line-up will begin at 6 p.m. at the XFINITY Arena (enter through the main entrance on the NW corner of Hewitt and Oakes – signs will direct you from there). Come dressed in your cap and gown. DO NOT bring bags, purses or other personal belongings. You are responsible for your own valuables, and there is NO STORAGE available!

Guests/Tickets

There are NO guest tickets required, and you are allowed an unlimited number of guests!  Guest seating will begin at 7 p.m. and the ceremony will begin at 7:30 p.m.

After the Ceremony

Immediately following the ceremony, graduates will be ushered into the "View Lounge" area of the arena.

XFINITY Arena Restrictions

XFINITY Arena in Everett prohibits backpacks, camera bags, audio and video recording equipment, outside food and beverage, confetti (including silly string or similar items), bottles, cans, glass, coolers, helmets, balloons, chains, spikes, tents, laser pointers, fireworks, weapons, animals or pets (except ADA), inflatables and AIR HORNS.
