How long will the program take to complete?
Associate Degree: 6 quarters
After five quarters in the program track, students will then need another fifteen credits, as seen on the requirement sheet. Previous college credits can be evaluated and may be accepted toward those needed.
Basic Cooking Certificate: 3 quarters (42 credits)
Advanced Cooking Certificate (Basic Cooking Certificate plus 34 credits): 5 quarters
Catering Certificate: 3 quarters (44 credits)
Hours of School for Culinary Arts
Full-time students attending our program will be in lab classes most Mondays through Thursdays, 8:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Lecture classes varies on time based on the quarter. We do not offer night classes.
We distribute a calendar for the students at the beginning of each quarter detailing the length of the quarter, days off, and special events such as dinners or banquets.
