Internship Fair
This fair is for all students. You will have the opportunity to meet more than 25 diverse companies seeking interns in: accounting, graphic design, horticulture, hospitality & tourism, IT, marketing, paralegal and more. Internships are a great way to make you more competitive for future jobs. Be prepared to introduce yourself be able to highlight the skills you have that match the company’s internship position.

Energy Employer Panel and Trade Show
This event is for Energy Management Students and Alumni and Alumni. The event will begin with an employer panel, which is a guided Q&A with local employers about industry trends and hiring practices. It will end with an exhibition style setting for student to learn more about each participating company. Come prepared with questions to ask.

This is a split hiring fair for IT Students on one side and Allied Health and Medical Information Technology Students on the other. Companies are looking to hire. Come prepared with your resume, dress professionally, and be ready to interview.

iPad 2 Raffle - Rules and Guidelines
Students: Attend Career Action Center events and get your iPad 2 card punched. When your card has 5 or more punches, put your completed card in the blue drawing vase in MLT 130 by June 7, 2012.
Students are permitted to submit no more than ONE punch card each into the iPad 2 raffle. The raffle is open to all Edmonds Community College students who are enrolled in classes during the Winter & Spring quarters 2012. Edmonds Community College employees are not eligible for participation. All entries are in the form of the Career Action Center punch card. All cards with 5 or more punches including name, phone, email and student ID written on the back are eligible. The punch card must be complete and legible. Students are responsible for keeping track of their own punch cards, lost punch cards will not be considered for the raffle.
Students may obtain punch cards from the Career Action Center, MLT #130, Career Resource Room, MLT #138 or at any of the career events during the winter and spring quarters. Present your punch card at each event to receive your participation confirmation (a punch or stamp.) As soon as your card has FIVE or more punches or stamps, you may submit it to the raffle for an iPad2. Only students who attend five or more of the designated career events and have completed an evaluation form for event or workshop will qualify. Once the iPad2 has been presented, it becomes the sole property of the student along with its care and technical support needs.
Raffle Prize: Apple® - iPad® 2 with Wi-Fi - 16GB - Black
Submission Dates: The submission period for the competition is from January 3, 2012 to June 7, 2012. All entries must be received by 5 p.m. PDT on June 7, 2012, in the Career Action Center, MLT #130, Edmonds Community College.
The winner will be announced June 8, 2012.
