Transportation options for students and employees
Free bus pass (Community Transit)
As a student at Edmonds Community College, you get to use your EdPass (your school ID) for unlimited rides on local Community Transit buses – plus receive a discount on trips to King County. The buses stop at the campus transit center located in front of Alderwood and Brier Halls. Schedules are available online or outside the College Bookstore in Brier Hall. Get your bus sticker at the Cashier’s Office. Make sure you update each quarter!
Staff and Faculty
You also get to use your EdPass on Community Transit for a reduced rate. Check it out: three months for the price of one!
Parking
Parking is free at Edmonds Community College. Since it is limited, students are advised to allow time for parking. They may park in any lot except those marked for staff or visitors. There are two specially designated carpool parking areas, one located near the Triton Union Building and Lynnwood Hall, and the other south of Snohomish Hall. After 5 PM, students may park in any lot. Tickets are issued for parking and vehicle violations. To see the parking lots go to the Parking Map
Carpool Permits
Students and employees traveling to Edmonds Community College in a vehicle with two or more people are eligible to sign up for a carpool-parking permit. There are two specially designated carpool parking areas, one located near the Triton Union Building and Lynnwood Hall, and the other south of Snohomish Hall. The permits may be obtained each new quarter from the Security Office on a first-come, first-served basis. Carpool spaces are limited.
Transportation Coordinator
The college offers the services of a transportation coordinator to students and employees to answer general questions about bus routes, rideshare matching services, carpool information, or other transportation services that might help students commute to campus. Bike Lockers
Bike lockers are located on the east side of Brier Hall, near the Community Transit Bus Center, and can be reserved on a quarterly basis. There is a refundable $40 deposit required. Information and reservations can be obtained at the EdPass Office in Brier Hall.
