Between the Lines, the multiple award-winning literary and arts journal of Edmonds Community College, is now accepting literature and art submissions for the next issue.
BTL publishes quality short fiction, poetry, and non-fiction from students, staff, and faculty at Edmonds Community College and from the surrounding community.
Please note that we are no longer accepting hard copy submissions or art or literature; all submissions must be in digital format.
Guidelines for Written Work
- Submit original manuscripts of up to 1,200 words on disk or as an email attachment to btl@edcc.edu. You may submit up to three poems, stories, or essays.
- Please do not include any identifying information other than the title on the manuscript. Include separately your full name, mailing address, phone number, genre and titles of all work submitted, and a short bio for use in publication.
Guidelines for Visual Art
- Submit a color digital image via disk or email attachment to btl@edcc.edu (under 1MB please). If selected, artwork will be re-photographed for publication if necessary. You may submit up three entries.
- Please do not include any identifying information other than the title on the art submission. Include separately your full name, mailing address, phone number, medium and titles of all work submitted, and a short bio for use in publication.
For All Work
- Previously published work is not accepted.
- All rights revert to the artists after publication.
- Simultaneous submissions considered if indicated in cover letter.
