Tournament Recap: The Tritons had a great opening weekend of completion -- finishing 4-2 against some great teams. They opened up at the Chemeketa Tournament, which featured the top 5 teams from the 2008 NWAACC tournament. The first day of completion was pool play and the Tritons finished 3-0 for the day, defeating Centralia, Spokane, and Clackamas. The second day was tournament play, and the Tritons had a difficult first round -- losing to Highline and ending their tournament early. Despite the loss, the 3-1 record was a great start to the season and showed the great promise that the season holds for the Tritons. Rebecca Stafford was voted team MVP for the weekend after some great matches -- finishing with 17 kills and a .324 hitting percentage. They completed the road trip splitting a pair of matches against Mount Hood (lost 1-3, led by Brianna Cox with 10 Kills and a .429 hitting% and Alyssa Dahl with 12 Digs) and Clark (won 3-2, led by Rebecca Stafford with 13 Kills & 15 Digs, Emily Price with 34 Assists, and Alyssa Dahl with 18 Digs ). |

| Tournament Recap: The team had their first bout dealing with illness this weekend -- playing without a few key figures -- and responded well. Although hey finished with a 1-3 record for the tournament, they were competitive with every team they played. Rebecca Stafford had a great tournament and was voted by her teammates as the team tournament MVP. She was awarded with the NWAACC North Division Offensive Player of the Week for her efforts over the weekend. | ||||

| Tournament Recap: Another rough weekend due to some injuries -- but the Tritons played some very good teams and competed every match. This Crossover Tournament marks the end of the pre-season for the Tritons. They did not shy away from competition during the pre-season and will benefit from it at the end of the season. All players received valuable experience and we enter the regular season fully prepared to defend our North Division title. | ||||

Tournament Recap: With some key members of the team under the weather, the Tritons fought hard all weekend long and earned a split of their tournament matches. The team finished 4th in the Tournament and as proof of their hard work , freshman Cami Alexander was selected to the All-Tournament team. The Tritons now focus on the 2nd half of their league schedule and look to make a run towards a 3rd consecutive post-season appearance under Head Coach Tony Miranda in as many years. |
