Edmonds Community College Athletics
Softball Head Coach Jeannie Nieman
I would like to take a second to introduce myself as the new Head softball coach for Edmonds Community College. As an alumnus of Edmonds CC, I rejoined the Edmonds CC team as a Full-time Physical Education Instructor in the fall of 2005. Having a master’s degree in Sports and Exercise Leadership, I have brought my expertise in athletic training to Edmonds Community College. Since beginning with Edmonds, I have been training many athletes in their specific sports. But now I have the opportunity to take my expertise in softball and apply it to building and creating a strong, student driven team for Edmonds CC.
In addition to being a Full-time instructor, I have been involved in softball for 20 years. Being a player and a coach I am aware of the challenge that lies ahead, but look forward to the opportunity to create a strong team in the coming years.
Some past coaching experiences include coaching for a middle school and high school in the Edmonds School district, and for the past few years, I have been the head coach for Pacific Little League’s Juniors team. These were great opportunities and building blocks as I move forward in my career as a softball coach.
I look forward to chatting with you about our softball program, our campus life and giving you a tour of our facility. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to set up a meeting.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Jeannie Nieman
