Men's Basketball Coaching Staff

Head Coach: Kyle Gray

Kyle Gray will enter his first season as the Head Coach of the Edmonds Community College Men's Basketball team for the 2012-13 season. He and his coaching staff are dedicated to bringing back a winning tradition to EdCC.

A seasoned NWAACC veteran, Gray previously served eight years as the Head Coach of the Men's Basketball team at Seattle Community College until the athletic program was cut following the 2011-12 season. In his eight years with the Storm, Gray coached several competitive teams, including the 2011-12 squad that finished one game out of making the NWAACC Championship Tournament from the tough North Division. Gray also organized his Free throws for a Cause fundraiser where the men's basketball team raised over $18,000 for local charities and non profit organizations in the last seven years.

Gray earned his B.A. in Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences from the University of Washington in 2005 and his Masters in Physical Education from Seattle Pacific University in 2010. Prior to UW and SPU, Gray graduated from Ballard High School in 1997 where he played both basketball and baseball for the Beavers. He is the elementary PE teacher at Viewlands Elementary School. Gray was born in Seattle and currently lives in Ballard with his wife, Kadee.
