Student Clubs

The Art Club's mission is to inspire, promote and enhance an appreciation of art among students and faculty/staff of EdCC as well as members of the community. Each quarter members of the Art Club participate in a number of art-centered activities including open studio sessions (where members use art supplies purchased by club funds); visits to local artists' studios; field trips to area museums and galleries; painting murals for sites on campus; collaborative painting with (and sending supplies to) artist friends in Cameroon; working with the Art Docents program at the Center for Families; printing club t-shirts and making creative items for fund-raising events. There are no membership dues to join nor do you have to be an art student or even a background in art. The Art Club is open to anyone interested in participating in similar art-centered activities!

If interested in joining, or if you have questions about the Art Club, please email Sarah Maki, advisor: Sarah.Maki@edcc.edu.
