Lab Hardware

We currently maintain and operate fourteen primary computer labs and approximately twenty additional computer areas.   The ACS Technical staff is constantly performing upgrades in an effort to maintain a state-of-the-art system that is competitive with other area community colleges.

The lab machines have a minimum processor speed of 2.4 GHz and have a minimum of 1 GB RAM.  The computers have front USB access.  Some labs have adjustable LCDs with USB access.  All labs have a black and white printer.

ACS replaces machines on a 5-year rotational basis, depending on funds.
