Summer in Seattle

Argosy Cruise EdCC Courtyard

Want an affordable way to experience being a college student in the US?

Summer in Seattle is a 2-week summer program for international students interested in studying at a US college. Participants will attend fun and useful English classes in the mornings and activities during the afternoons. While here you will stay with an American homestay family which we will arrange for you based on your preferences.

The Summer in Seattle program runs for two weeks during the beautiful Pacific Northwest summer. The program is a great, affordable, opportunity for students who want to explore American culture and education.  Interested students can choose from two sessions: July 13 – 26, 2014 or August 3 – 16, 2014 (each session will offer the same classes and activities).

During your stay you will be able to meet other American and international students through activities such as the conversation partner meeting and other scheduled activities on campus. Off campus you will explore the local Seattle areas.

The SIS program includes the following:

Housing

Students in the Summer in Seattle program can choose between two housing options:

HOMESTAY FAMILY (Includes meals) or RAINIER PLACE, Edmonds Community College's on-campus dormitory housing (depending on availability). (Does not include meals)

*Additional fee for dormitory option
