2013 Quarter-Long Study Abroad Opportunities
South Africa | Fall 2013: Sept. 24-Nov. 30 | Apply by June 18
This 10 week program includes: housing in student lodging, some meals, a three day-two night excursion along the Garden Route, and a day excursion to Cape of Good Hope. An opportunity to volunteer is also available for this program. No language requirements to apply!

Tokyo, Japan | Fall 2013
In the fall of 2013, take a trip to see the home of Sumo wrestling, Mt. Fuji, the active volcano, and the fascinating city of Tokyo. Students will take 15 credits at Kogakuin University and live in shared apartments on campus with other Washington State students. Airfare, housing, some activities and excursions are included in the program fee.

2014 Quarter-Long Study Abroad Opportunities
Australia/New Zealand | Winter 2014: January 7-March 14, 2014 | Apply by October 24, 2013
For five weeks stay in gorgeous Melbourne, Australia where you will live in apartment housing that is part of the University of Melbourne. Then venture to Auckland, New Zealand to spend the remainim five weeks. Airfare, housing, transfers to/from the airport, some meals and more are all included in the program fee. Each class counts as a requirement for one of the AA distributions and are all transferred back to your EdCC transcript.

Prague, Czech Republic | Spring 2014
Students will live in multi-bedded apartments in the city centre with a travel pass they can use on buses, trams and underground trains. Weekly subsidized activities are also included such as music concerts, sporting events, and a brewery tour.
Day trips are planned to UNESCO World heritage site and to Konopiste for the Castle of Franz Ferdinand.

London, England | Fall 2014
For 10 weeks, students can study at the University of London and earn 15 credits. Students will stay with a family where most meals are provided and have a travel pass for buses and the tube (subway).
Excursions to Scotland and Prague are optional as well as weekly subsidized activities such as plays, football (soccer) matches, and curry nights.
